When the time is right, seeds sown blossom and thrive.  We are living in an age where the soil is fertile and spirituality is blooming in all four corners of the world. Much of the upheaval we see in the world today is a signal for us to awaken to a different reality. At this time, we need places where we can enter into quiet reflection and spiritual practice, places where we can grow strong minds and warm hearts.

A Learning & Retreat Center

Some have expressed surprise at the complete shift in awareness that can take place in just one weekend, and many choose to return again and again. For some, it is the opportunity for solitude, for walks through the 300 acre property, and sunrise meditations. Others are seeking answers to questions about spiritual knowledge, spiritual power and the experience of meditation. But for all, to retreat is–before anything else–a unique meeting with the self on the path of purpose and meaning.

The Peace Village Community

Peace Village is a spiritual community of practicing yogis. Some live and work at Peace Village, while others volunteer for a weekend or longer. Each experiences, on a daily basis, the profound benefits that meditation and spiritual insight can have on one’s life. They maintain the physical campus and — most importantly — build the atmosphere of safety, serenity, and simplicity.  The aim is to provide a place of peace, renewal and spiritual education.

For people of all Backgrounds

The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization (BKWSO) created Peace Village in 1999 to be a place where people of all backgrounds can come and explore their spirituality, Established in 1937, the BKWSO is now comprised of individuals of all ages and backgrounds who regularly attend classes at more than 8,500 meditation centers located in more than 120 countries. We teach a practical method of meditation that helps individuals understand their inner strengths and values. Acknowledging the challenges of rapid global change, we support the wll being of individuals of all walks of life by promoting spiritual understanding, leadership with integrity, and elevated actions towards a better world.

Raja Yoga Meditation

Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga is at the core of what we teach. It is an ancient spiritual discipline that engages the mind in a loving link with the Divine. It can be used to relax, refresh, and renew the spirit, and heart, leading to a deeper experience of peace and positivity.
